Jon Campbell has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Initially an actor, having trained at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he went on to form his own theatre company which was highly successful, being awarded three Time Out Critic’s Choice accolades in a single year. Subsequently he was awarded a bursary for play writing by the Arts Council of Great Britain. He also began his work in film as a writer. Many of his film scripts have been optioned by numerous companies and he has collaborated with various well known figures in the industry. These include, Hugh Hudson (Chariots of Fire), Cat Villiers (Before the Rain and The Proposition), Steve Matthews, (The Borgias), Elinor Day, (Diary of a Call Girl and Gangster No 1), Richard Johns (Shadow of the Vampire). Jon has worked in Los Angeles where he was commissioned to write the film script for Invincible which was eventually directed by Werner Herzog and starred Tim Roth. He has been employed as a script doctor, both in the UK and in Germany and has been involved in script research in Japan. In 2011, Jon established White Space Film Productions whose first project, White Space in a Painting, won a Best Shorts Award at the La Jolla Best Shorts Competition, California and was chosen to be showcased at the Lucerne Film Festival. 1-2-1 Acting Classes
Be the best you can be.
Acting Classes on a 1-2-1 basis are important in that they are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. They aim to diminish weaknesses and increase strengths. Drama School entrants are welcome as are those who wish to enter the industry without going to Drama School or who simply want to refresh their skills.
